The Finance Analyst is responsible for analysing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support business decision-making. This role involves budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and monitoring financial performance to ensure the company's financial health and stability.

Duties & Responsibilities
Financial Analysis: Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and performance metrics, and prepare financial reports and dashboards for management review.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in creating annual budgets and quarterly forecasts and monitor budget performance and explain variances.
Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and decision support and conduct scenario analysis to evaluate potential outcomes.
Data Management: Collect, clean, and interpret financial data from various sources, and maintain accuracy and integrity of financial databases.
Reporting & Communication: Present financial findings and recommendations to stakeholders and create visualizations to communicate complex data clearly.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls and identify and mitigate financial risks.
Collaboration: Work with other departments to gather necessary information and provide financial insights and support cross-functional projects and initiatives.
Education & Training
Bachelor’s Degree: Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Master’s Degree (Optional): MBA or Master’s in Finance/Economics can be advantageous.
Certifications: CFA, CPA, CMA.
Experience: Internships or entry-level roles in finance.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends and insights.

Reporting: Ability to prepare and present clear and accurate financial reports.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in financial software and tools, including Excel and ERP systems.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations.
Attention to Detail: Precision in analyzing data and ensuring accuracy in financial reports.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
Collaboration: Skills in working with cross-functional teams and departments.
