Job description

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance operations at Attaché 2.0, ensuring that all facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, are in optimal condition. This includes managing a team of maintenance staff, conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting and repairing systems, and maintaining equipment. The role also requires proactive planning and coordination to prevent issues and ensure the club runs smoothly at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities

Team Supervision & Staff Management:

Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring that they are well-trained, motivated, and perform their duties efficiently.

Assign maintenance tasks based on urgency and operational needs, ensuring timely completion of repairs and preventive maintenance.

Monitor the performance of maintenance staff and provide regular feedback, coaching, and guidance to maintain high standards of work.

Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to guests and ensure the smooth operation of the facility.

Oversee the daily work assignments and provide support as needed to ensure all tasks are completed on time.

Maintenance & Repairs:

Oversee and coordinate routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs for all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and structural systems.

Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance needs or areas of improvement, ensuring that any issues are resolved promptly.

Ensure all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are functioning correctly, conducting troubleshooting and repairs when necessary.

Handle requests for repairs from various departments, including housekeeping, front desk, and food & beverage, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of issues.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, as well as ensuring the safe operation of machinery and equipment.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant building codes and safety regulations and ensure that the property adheres to them.

Develop and implement safety procedures for the maintenance team to follow, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.

Conduct safety audits and fire drills, ensuring the property is prepared for any emergency situations.

Inventory & Equipment Management:

Manage and monitor the inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment, ensuring that adequate stock levels are maintained.

Assist in the purchasing and procurement of materials and equipment needed for maintenance operations, ensuring that orders are within budget and meet operational needs.

Maintain equipment and tools in proper working order, arranging for servicing and repairs as needed.

Budgeting & Cost Control:

Assist in the development and management of the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.

Monitor and control maintenance costs by identifying opportunities to reduce expenses without compromising quality or service.

Prepare regular reports on maintenance activities, including completed tasks, outstanding issues, and budget status.

Education & Training 

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

A degree or certification in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

On-the-job training will be provided to familiarize you with systems, equipment, and maintenance protocols.

Ongoing training to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.

Working Conditions

9 hours ( +/- 90 minutes)

    This assessment evaluates key qualities essential for hospitality roles, such as problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. Candidates must score 80% or higher to qualify for an interview at the Job Fair.
