Job description

The Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are consistently met. You will manage a team of housekeepers and laundry staff, monitor cleanliness and service quality, and ensure efficient laundry operations. This role includes managing inventory, staff training, performance monitoring, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate housekeeping and laundry staff, ensuring tasks are completed to the highest standards while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.

Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring all areas meet luxury standards.

Inspect rooms and public areas regularly to ensure cleanliness, quality, and adherence to established protocols.

Train and mentor staff on cleaning procedures, guest service standards, and safety protocols to maintain consistency and quality.

Implement cleaning and laundry schedules, monitoring task completion and ensuring prompt, high-quality results.

Supervise laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and guest laundry to meet luxury standards.

Ensure proper care and maintenance of all linens, towels, and laundry equipment for efficiency and longevity.

Address guest requests and special cleaning needs promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction and exceptional service.

Education & Training 

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
A degree or certification in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.

On-the-job training will be provided to familiarize you with cleaning procedures, systems, and operational standards.
Regular training in safety, cleanliness, and guest service standards.

Working Conditions

9 hours (+/- 90 minutes)

    This assessment evaluates key qualities essential for hospitality roles, such as problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. Candidates must score 80% or higher to qualify for an interview at the Job Fair.

     

  2. Register for the Job Fair
