Job description

The role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while supporting bartenders in providing outstanding service to guests.

Duties & Responsibilities

Bar Support & Stocking:
Assist bartenders by restocking the bar with ice, garnishes, glassware, and alcohol.
Ensure the bar is well-stocked with necessary supplies throughout the shift, such as napkins, straws, drinkware, and cocktail ingredients.
Replenish stock and ingredients as needed, ensuring the bar never runs out of essential items during service.
Cleaning & Organization:
Maintain cleanliness behind the bar, including clearing empty glasses, wiping down surfaces, and washing glassware.
Clean and organize the bar area, ensuring all equipment (e.g., shakers, blenders, etc.) is sanitized and in working order.
Clean and restock cooler units, shelves, and storage areas, ensuring everything is in its proper place.
Ensure that the bar area is free from clutter and always looks presentable and tidy for guests.
Support Bartenders & Servers:
Assist bartenders with prepping ingredients for cocktails, such as cutting fruit, preparing garnishes, and organizing mixers.
Deliver drinks to guests and help with clearing and cleaning tables or bar areas as needed.
Help maintain the pace of service by ensuring bartenders are never without the tools or supplies they need.
Assist with setting up the bar for the start of a shift and breaking down the bar at the end of service.
Inventory Assistance:
Help with inventory control by keeping track of stock levels and alerting the Bar Supervisor or Manager when supplies are running low.
Assist with the unloading and organization of deliveries of alcohol, mixers, and other supplies.
Help with the rotation of stock to prevent waste or spoilage, ensuring that older stock is used first.
Health & Safety Standards:
Adhere to all safety and hygiene regulations, including maintaining proper handling and storage of alcohol and perishables. Follow health and safety standards by ensuring proper sanitation of work areas and bar tools. Help maintain safety and cleanliness in high-traffic areas, preventing accidents and ensuring a safe working environment.
Assist with Event Preparation:
Help prepare the bar for special events, including setting up drink stations, organizing cocktail supplies, and ensuring the bar area is clean and ready for guests.
Support the bar team in executing high-volume services during events, keeping the bar area well-organized and efficient.

Education & Training 

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, though not required.
Training:
On-the-job training will be provided on the club’s beverage menu, service procedures, and safety standards.
Training in health and safety regulations.

Working Conditions

9 hours ( +/- 90 minutes)

    This assessment evaluates key qualities essential for hospitality roles, such as problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. Candidates must score 80% or higher to qualify for an interview at the Job Fair.

     

  2. Register for the Job Fair 
    The registration link will be available after you pass the test.
