The Reception Manager will be responsible for overseeing the front desk operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing the reception team, and maintaining a positive first impression for all guests. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to effectively manage the reception area and coordinate with other departments.

Duties & Responsibilities

Front Desk Operations: Oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes for guests. Manage the reception team to adhere to service standards and company policies.
Customer Service: Ensure exceptional service for all guests by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing assistance as needed. Maintain a warm and welcoming environment to enhance guest satisfaction.
Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop reception staff, providing ongoing coaching and support to foster a high-performance team. Conduct performance evaluations to implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Communication and Coordination: Liaise with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction. Communicate important information to the team regarding events, promotions, and guest requests.
Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, bookings, and feedback, ensuring data is up to date and accessible. Prepare reports on front desk operations and guest feedback for management review.
Sales and Upselling: Promote hotel services and amenities to guests, maximizing revenue opportunities through upselling and cross-selling techniques. Monitor occupancy rates to assist in managing room availability and reservations.

Education & Training 

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in front desk operations or customer service roles within the hospitality industry.
