Job description

The Events Manager at Attaché will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events for Attaché, ensuring all aspects of the event run smoothly and meet the organization’s goals. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team, work with vendors, and deliver memorable event experiences that align with the company's objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

Event Planning & Coordination: Lead the planning and execution of various events, ensuring smooth logistics and alignment with client needs.

Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring compliance with budgets and company policies.

Team Leadership: Oversee the events team, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient and high-quality event delivery.

Client Relations: Act as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring their expectations are met through pre- and post-event consultations.

Budget Management: Create and monitor event budgets, ensuring expenditures stay within financial goals.
On-site Management: Oversee event setup and execution, resolving any issues that arise swiftly and effectively.

Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and assist with the creation of marketing materials.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure events adhere to all safety, health, and legal regulations, conducting risk assessments as needed.

Post-event Reporting: Evaluate the success of events through feedback and reports, offering insights for future improvements.

Education & Training 

Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.

5+ years of experience in event planning or management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Leadership & Team Management: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and manage a diverse team to ensure high-quality event execution.

Problem-solving & Decision-making: Adept at identifying and resolving issues swiftly, making informed decisions under pressure to ensure seamless event operations.

Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable contracts and pricing.

Budgeting & Financial Acumen: Strong financial management skills, including budget creation, cost control, and expense tracking.

Creativity & Attention to Detail: Ability to design unique and memorable event experiences, while ensuring every detail is executed to perfection.

Customer Service Orientation: A client-focused mindset with a commitment to exceeding customer expectations and delivering exceptional experiences.

Time Management: Proficient in managing time and deadlines, ensuring all event elements are organized and executed on schedule.

Adaptability: Ability to work in dynamic environments, adjust to last-minute changes, and remain calm under pressure.

Working Conditions

9 Hours ( +/- 90 minutes)
