Job Description
The Sous Chef plays a key role in kitchen leadership by supporting the Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef. This position requires overseeing food preparation, coordinating kitchen sections, and ensuring timely service delivery. Strong organizational skills and culinary expertise are vital for success in this role.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef with menu planning, recipe development, and food innovation.
- Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and presented to the highest standards.
- Manage kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and oversee daily workflow.
- Monitor food storage, inventory levels, and stock rotation.
Enforce compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the kitchen. - Support the Head Chef in daily operations and assume responsibilities in their absence.
