Job Description
The Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor ensures that guest rooms, public areas, and laundry services meet cleanliness and hygiene standards. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory of cleaning supplies, and ensuring high efficiency in laundry operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance.
- Train, mentor, and support staff on cleaning procedures, laundry operations, guest service, and safety protocols.
- Oversee cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring luxury standards.
- Supervise laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and timely delivery of linens, towels, and uniforms.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and laundry materials, ensuring proper stock levels and cost control.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special service needs promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and environmental regulations in all housekeeping and laundry operations.
