Job Description
The Finance Director plays a pivotal role within the organization by executing specialized responsibilities tied to their department. This includes adhering to company standards, supporting internal operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed. The role demands adaptability, professionalism, and the ability to manage day-to-day tasks efficiently while maintaining service excellence and operational accuracy.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct financial planning, strategy, and day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets, to senior management.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management; monitor progress and provide variance analysis.
- Oversee audits, tax compliance (including VAT), internal controls, and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Develop and execute fiscal strategies, liaising with ownership and senior management to align with business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team; set objectives, monitor performance, and foster continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to prioritize projects, optimize costs, and ensure operational and financial goals are met.
