Job Description
The Executive Sous Chef acts as second-in-command in the kitchen, ensuring high culinary standards, staff training, and smooth daily operations. This role involves menu development, supervising junior chefs, and maintaining food safety standards while working closely with the Executive Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency.
- Collaborate with Executive Chef on menu planning, seasonal specials, and culinary innovation.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering teamwork, professionalism, and growth.
- Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and brand-aligned quality.
- Monitor inventory, control food costs, and minimize waste through effective planning.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Conduct training to enhance staff skills, consistency, and adherence to brand standards.
- Work closely with service and events teams to coordinate seamless execution during high-profile occasions.
