Job Description
The Demi Chef de Partie works as part of the kitchen brigade, assisting in preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and quality standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, a passion for food, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Assist the Chef de Partie in managing assigned sections, ensuring smooth operations during service.
- Maintain consistency and quality control in all dishes, meeting venue standards for taste and presentation.
- Follow hygiene, food safety, and health regulations, keeping workstations clean and organized.
- Support stock management, including ingredient storage, rotation, and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure efficient service and a positive work environment.
