Job Description
The Cashier plays a pivotal role within the organization by executing specialized responsibilities tied to their department. This includes adhering to company standards, supporting internal operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed. The role demands adaptability, professionalism, and the ability to manage day-to-day tasks efficiently while maintaining service excellence and operational accuracy.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, addressing inquiries, and maintaining a positive experience.
- Accurately handle cash, process payments, provide correct change, and ensure cash drawer balances.
- Operate and troubleshoot POS systems, with Geidea system knowledge as a plus.
- Verify prices, apply discounts, and ensure transaction accuracy; identify and resolve errors promptly.
- Process credit and debit card payments securely and efficiently.
- Manage high transaction volumes during peak periods and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Resolve customer complaints and disputes professionally, ensuring satisfactory outcomes.
