Job Description
The Bar Manager leads all aspects of beverage service operations, including team supervision, stock management, and financial oversight. This role requires deep knowledge of mixology, customer service, inventory control, and compliance with local health and safety regulations. A successful Bar Manager creates an engaging bar environment while maximizing profitability, training staff, and innovating beverage menus.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and high-quality beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the bar and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to alcohol service.
- Lead, supervise, and train bartenders and bar staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Develop staff schedules and monitor performance, providing feedback and coaching.
- Deliver exceptional guest service, addressing complaints and providing personalized recommendations.
- Collaborate on drink menu development, including seasonal specials and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage stock levels to prevent shortages and wastage.
