Job description

The Yoga Instructor will be responsible for providing personalized attention, ensuring safety, and promoting the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of yoga.

Duties & Responsibilities

Yoga Class Instruction:
Lead yoga classes for individuals and groups, offering a variety of styles such as Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, and Yoga Nidra, catering to different skill levels from beginners to advanced practitioners.

Create and design thoughtful, balanced class sequences that are both safe and challenging for participants.

Offer modifications and adjustments to meet the needs of individuals and ensure the safety of all participants.

Personalized Yoga Instruction:
Provide one-on-one yoga instruction or small group sessions for members seeking personalized guidance or focusing on specific goals (e.g., flexibility, strength, stress relief).

Assess the needs and limitations of individual members and tailor practices accordingly.

Wellness & Mindfulness Integration:
Promote mindfulness and breathing techniques (Pranayama) during class to enhance mental clarity, relaxation, and stress reduction.

Encourage holistic health practices beyond physical postures, including meditation and mindfulness.

Member Engagement:
Build strong relationships with members by providing a welcoming and supportive environment in each class.

Offer individual guidance and encouragement to members, helping them deepen their practice and achieve their wellness goals.

Promote additional wellness programs, events, and retreats.

Studio & Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure yoga studio space is clean, well-organized, and ready for each class.

Set up and arrange any necessary props (e.g.,mats, blocks, straps, blankets) before and after each session.

Monitor the condition of yoga equipment and report any issues or maintenance needs.

Class Promotion & Scheduling:
Assist in promoting yoga classes through the marketing channels and within the community.

Education & Training 

A recognized certification in Yoga Instruction from an accredited yoga school.

A background or knowledge in wellness, anatomy, or physical fitness is highly preferred.

Ongoing training or workshops related to yoga and wellness may be provided or encouraged to support continuous professional development.

CPR and First Aid certification is required or must be obtained within a reasonable timeframe.

Working Conditions

9 hours ( +/- 90 minutes)

  1. Complete the Test
    This assessment evaluates key qualities essential for hospitality roles, such as problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. Candidates must score 80% or higher to qualify for an interview at the Job Fair.

     

  2. Register for the Job Fair 
    The registration link will be available after you pass the test.
