Job description

The Steward must always maintain the kitchen, dish washing and back area in an inspection ready condition in accordance with local authority and organization guidelines.

Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained and organized at all times.
Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times.
Operate pot washing machinery and maintain a hygienic working environment in accordance with hygiene regulations and organization standards.
Adhere to all sanitation guidelines.
Assist the cooks and servers when necessary.
Collect and remove trash from all areas of the operation following established procedures.
Dispose of waste as per organization and authority standards, and adhere to recycling guidelines.
Ensure the waste bin area is kept clean and tidy.
Carry out general cleaning as directed, and ensure placement in the correct containers.
Clean and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and other minor equipment routinely used in the kitchen following established procedures.
Clean and maintain floors and walls in the kitchen and dish washing area by following standard procedures.
Clean and sanitize dishes, and related serviceware following established procedures.
Clean large equipment as assigned, following established procedures.
Consistently adheres to information related to the proper and safe use of chemicals in the workplace.
Knowledge and proficiency to operate industrial Steward.
Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order.
Clean, sanitize and close workstations.
Use and maintain all equipment according to department guidelines.
Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the higher level management.
Always Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Education & Training 

High school diploma or equivalent.

Working Conditions

9 Hours ( +/- 90 minutes)

    This assessment evaluates key qualities essential for hospitality roles, such as problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. Candidates must score 80% or higher to qualify for an interview at the Job Fair.

     

  2. Register for the Job Fair 
    The registration link will be available after you pass the test.
