Job description

The Sound Engineer at Beast House is responsible for overseeing the technical sound requirements of live events, ensuring the highest quality audio performance from setup to live show. You will operate, configure, and manage sound equipment to deliver an exceptional auditory experience, working closely with artists, event coordinators, and technical teams. Your expertise in sound mixing, audio troubleshooting, and system calibration is essential in delivering flawless events across various genres and event types.

Duties & Responsibilities

Sound System Setup & Configuration: Set up, configure, and calibrate sound equipment (microphones, speakers, mixing consoles) according to event specifications, ensuring optimal audio performance.

Sound Mixing & Balancing: Mix sound during live events, ensuring balanced audio levels, adjusting EQ settings, and making real-time adjustments for the best sound quality.

Audio Troubleshooting: Quickly identify and resolve technical issues during events, ensuring that any audio problems are fixed without disruption to the performance.

Collaboration with Event Teams: Work closely with event coordinators, artists, and other technical staff to ensure sound equipment meets the needs of each event and performance.

On-Site Audio Support: Provide on-site technical support during rehearsals and live events, ensuring all audio needs are met, from setup to performance.

Audio Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot sound equipment, performing regular checks and repairs as needed to ensure all equipment functions at peak levels.

System Calibration: Perform system checks and calibrate sound systems for different venues, ensuring clarity and consistency of audio across all spaces.

Manage Audio Files & Documentation: Oversee digital audio files, managing recordings and ensuring proper storage and archival for future use.

Continuous Learning & Improvement: Stay current with advancements in audio technology and sound engineering, applying new techniques to improve performance quality.

Education & Training 

Degree in Sound Engineering, Audio Production, Music Technology, or a related field is preferred.preferred.

3-5 years of experience as a sound engineer or in a similar technical role, specifically in live events or venue environments.

Working Conditions

9 Hours ( +/- 90 minutes)

    This assessment evaluates key qualities essential for hospitality roles, such as problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. Candidates must score 80% or higher to qualify for an interview at the Job Fair.

     

  2. Register for the Job Fair 
    The registration link will be available after you pass the test.
