Job description
The Resident DJ will be responsible for creating an engaging and sophisticated musical environment. This role involves performing live sets, curating playlists that align with the brand’s luxury aesthetic, and contributing to the overall ambiance of the venue.
Duties & Responsibilities
Music Programming:
Curate and perform sets tailored to the atmosphere of different times of day, events, and guest preferences.
Event Collaboration:
Work closely with the events team to provide customized music experiences for special occasions, themed nights, and private functions.
Audience Engagement:
Read the crowd to ensure music selections enhance guest satisfaction and maintain a vibrant energy throughout the venue.
Equipment Management:
Ensure proper setup, operation, and maintenance of DJ equipment. Address any technical issues promptly.
Brand Alignment:
Incorporate the brands identity into all musical choices, maintaining a sophisticated and modern vibe.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with the food, beverage, and events teams to sync music with overall service delivery.
Education & Training
Professional certification or training in DJing and music production (preferred).
Proficiency with industry-standard DJ software and equipment, such as Pioneer, Serato, or Traktor.

This assessment evaluates key qualities essential for hospitality roles, such as problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. Candidates must score 80% or higher to qualify for an interview at the Job Fair.
