Job description

The Housekeeping & Laundry Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and service are consistently maintained throughout the facility. This includes supervising housekeeping staff, managing laundry services, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring that all facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas, are kept immaculate. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Supervise and manage the housekeeping team to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met throughout guest rooms, public areas, and staff areas.

Establish and enforce housekeeping protocols for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the facility while addressing and resolving any housekeeping-related issues or complaints promptly.

Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and adherence to high standards.

Train, motivate, and develop housekeeping staff to uphold proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and guest service standards.

Oversee laundry operations to provide efficient, high-quality services for guests, staff, and facility needs.

Ensure laundry equipment is maintained and functioning properly while managing inventory and supply needs.

Supervise the sorting, washing, drying, and distribution of linens, uniforms, and guest clothing with a focus on luxury standards.

Develop and implement procedures to optimize resources, reduce waste, and ensure seamless housekeeping and laundry operations.

Education & Training 

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
A degree or certification in Hospitality Management, Housekeeping, or a related field is preferred.

On-the-job training will be provided in club-specific procedures, systems, and standards.
Regular training in health, safety, and sanitation practices, as well as leadership and management techniques.

Working Conditions

9 hours ( +/- 90 minutes)

    This assessment evaluates key qualities essential for hospitality roles, such as problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. Candidates must score 80% or higher to qualify for an interview at the Job Fair.

     

  2. Register for the Job Fair
