Job description

The role involves interacting with guests, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the smooth operation of the bar. You will work closely with the Bar Supervisor and other team members to ensure that every guest experience is exceptional, while maintaining cleanliness and organization at the bar.

Duties & Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation & Service:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and soft drinks, following the club’s recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure that all drinks are made to a high standard, paying attention to detail and quality.
Recommend drinks to guests based on their preferences, offering personalized suggestions when necessary.
Ensure efficient and timely delivery of beverages to guests at the bar and at tables when required.
Guest Interaction & Customer Service:
Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing a welcoming atmosphere at the bar.
Engage with guests to build rapport, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued during their visit.
Handle guest complaints, requests, and special needs promptly and professionally.
Maintain a positive and approachable demeanor, ensuring that all guests receive personalized service and attention.
Bar Maintenance & Cleanliness:
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including workstations, counters, and glassware.
Ensure that all bar tools and equipment are in good working order and properly cleaned after each use.
Replenish bar supplies (e.g., garnishes, glassware, napkins) and keep the bar fully stocked throughout the shift.
Clean and sanitize the bar area, ensuring all health and safety standards are adhered to.
Inventory & Stock Control:
Assist in monitoring bar inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of all beverages and supplies.
Alert the Bar Supervisor or Manager to low stock levels or damaged inventory.
Help with the restocking and organizing of bar supplies as needed.
Cash Handling & POS System:
Accurately take orders and process payments using the bar's point-of-sale (POS) system.
Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Maintain an accurate record of orders and payments, ensuring no discrepancies at the end of the shift.
Collaboration with Team Members:
Work closely with other bartenders, servers, and the bar management team to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in the training of new bar staff or bartenders by demonstrating proper techniques and standards.
Support the Bar Supervisor and Manager with any additional tasks as required to ensure optimal bar performance.
Event & Special Service Support:
Assist with bar services for special events, private parties, or VIP functions, ensuring that guests receive an exceptional experience.
Contribute to the setup and breakdown of the bar for special events, maintaining a professional standard of service.

Education & Training 

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Additional certifications in bartending, mixology, or hospitality are a plus but not mandatory.
Training:
On-the-job training will be provided on the club’s beverage menu, service procedures, and safety standards.

Working Conditions

9 hours ( +/- 90 minutes)

    This assessment evaluates key qualities essential for hospitality roles, such as problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. Candidates must score 80% or higher to qualify for an interview at the Job Fair.

     

  2. Register for the Job Fair 
    The registration link will be available after you pass the test.
