Bar Supervisor

Job description

This role combines leadership, hands-on operational support, and customer service to ensure the smooth running of the bar while maintaining high standards of product quality, cleanliness, and service.

Duties & Responsibilities

Bar Operations Management:
Supervise daily bar operations to ensure smooth service and an exceptional guest experience.

Ensure all drinks are prepared to the highest standard, following club recipes and presentation guidelines.

Monitor bar stock levels, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure that all stock is stored safely and properly.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, equipment, and service areas.

Enforce and uphold all health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Staff Supervision & Training:
Supervise and lead a team of bartenders and bar staff, ensuring they are providing excellent customer service and adhering to service standards.

Train new staff on bar procedures, cocktail preparation, guest interaction, and health and safety practices.

Motivate and encourage team members to maintain high energy and focus during service periods.

Assist in developing weekly staff schedules and ensure that the bar is adequately staffed during peak hours.

Guest Service & Experience:
Ensure that all guests are greeted and served promptly, professionally, and with a friendly demeanor.

Handle guest complaints or special requests efficiently, ensuring a positive resolution.

Promote signature cocktails and new drink offerings, providing personalized recommendations to guests.

Foster a lively and engaging atmosphere, ensuring that the bar environment is welcoming and aligned with the luxury experience.

Education & Training 

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

A degree or certification in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.

Professional bartending or mixology certification is desirable.

Training in customer service, cocktail knowledge, inventory management, and safety procedures will be provided

Working Conditions

9 hours ( +/- 90 minutes)

    This assessment evaluates key qualities essential for hospitality roles, such as problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. Candidates must score 80% or higher to qualify for an interview at the Job Fair.
